The weather outside may be frightful, but it’s the perfect time to celebrate Halloween! A Halloween pumpkin patch outing with the kids can be filled with adventure and fun, but also takes planning to make sure everyone stays safe and warm while they trick-or-treat. Add a pair of comfortable walking shoes to your pumpkin patch outfit. These will help you navigate longer trails as well as uneven terrain so that your other clothes stay clean and free of mud. Wide soles will give you extra stability while navigating slippery leaves. Rubber soles are usually best because they provide good traction over rain-soaked pavement or wet grass (be sure to keep an eye out for early morning dew!). A pair of tennis shoes work just fine for most occasions.
