The internet has quickly gotten behind Lil baby as he has become an internet sensation, especially in Australia where it appears that two million people were inspired by his diaper-clad appearance on Thursday night’s episode of ABC’s hit show Dancing With The Stars.
NSW Police announced via Twitter that they would be investigating the matter further into whether or not indecent exposure offenses had been committed in order to prosecute those responsibly.
A number of parents have criticized the fashion trend claiming that children should be educated about proper dress sense regardless of what they wear. While others have said it’s not inappropriate for young children because they don’t understand what they’re wearing anyway. “I think this kid is being stretched too much,” one person said on Reddit. “Kids know enough about clothes already.” Another said Lil Baby shouldn’t be wearing any type of underwear at all because he shouldn’t need it anyway: “I don’t think any outfit should require underwear,” another person on Reddit wrote. “Like if you’re crazy hard-core skater dude out there you can wear anything no matter how little cloth you have.” Another user called Lil Baby’s outfit “an absolute joke”: “Name me three things that aren’t considered too little for a one-year-old”.
